Japan Launches Next-Generation Bullet Train Reaching 400 km/h

Japan unveiled its next-generation bullet train on Wednesday, capable of reaching speeds of 400 kilometers per hour. The new maglev shinkansen line connects Tokyo to Osaka in just 67 minutes, down from the current 2 hours and 15 minutes.

The project, which cost over $90 billion and took 15 years to complete, represents the pinnacle of Japanese engineering. The train uses superconducting magnetic levitation technology, floating 10 centimeters above the guideway.

Prime Minister attended the inaugural ceremony, calling it a symbol of Japan's commitment to innovation and sustainable transportation. The train is powered entirely by renewable energy sources.

Transportation experts predict the new line will transform business travel patterns in Japan and serve as a model for high-speed rail development worldwide.
