Coding bootcamps across Nepal have reported a threefold increase in enrollment over the past year, driven by growing demand for software developers in the global market. Major training centers in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Biratnagar are running at full capacity.

The trend is fueled by success stories of bootcamp graduates securing remote positions with international companies, earning salaries far above the national average. Some graduates report earning between 1,500 to 4,000 US dollars per month working remotely.

Leading bootcamp providers like Codemantra Academy and Fusemachines have expanded their programs to include AI, machine learning, and blockchain development. Several now offer income-share agreements, where students pay tuition only after securing employment.

The government has partnered with five major bootcamp providers to offer 10,000 scholarships for women and students from underrepresented communities, aiming to create a more inclusive tech workforce.
